Negative thoughts bring you no luck

Well, my friend told me that negative thoughts bring you no luck. Is this true? Well my friend experienced two times of bad luck. As her mind full of negative thoughts and she told me she got the chance to use keys 3 times each time at two locations.

She told me that both times also she failed to open any up. No kidding. My other friend has better chance of winning and strikes all three. As she is very positive thinking, love friendship with positive people.

Chinese Odyssey 3 movie review

It's a wonderful night yesterday as I get to spend time with loved ones. My dear and me won four passes from CinemaOnline. Thanks to them we get to bring family to watch movie. It's movie at TGV 1 Utama.

The movie rating is PG13, language in movie used Cantonese. Got subtitle of English at bottom to read.

I can never forget the other version of this movie acted by Stephen Chow. He's the best comedian and always be. However in this movie you don't get to see him but you can listen to his voice.

Karen Mok actress pretty and she was acting with Stephen Chow the other version of the movie but not this name of the movie. That movie also has part 1 movie and part 2 movie.

The movie Chinese Odyssey 3 actor Geng Han as the Money King, I no see him in acting before. My first time watched him in this movie.

It's a nice entertainment movie, with comedy and romance. About the story, you'll find it different from other movie. So forget about it yeah just go enjoy this movie. Some friends of mine find this movie boring, but I still find this movie not bad, it's different view as you can find cosplay in the movie.

Laughter is the best medicine.

Young & Fabulous 2016 movie review

Yesterday, exciting day for me as in the morning I get a called about 8.15 from 8TV. It's very nice movie, PG13. Spoiler alert!

If you like cosplay this movie is suitable for you. It's also related to parenting, Remember never called your child dump, the word dumb will be remembered by him forever. This is what happened in the movie, about the siblings and their mom. The mom is very sad as his eldest son wanted to be fashion designer, he also helped to design pretty costumes of cosplay.

Cosplay is very popular not only in Singapore but Malaysia too. The language in Mandarin, English and Hokkien mixture of three languages.

It's about follow your dream or let go of it, best to watch the movie yourself to know the details. It's amazing that we can see lecturer, lawyer and engineer or pilot being a cosplay. I like costumes of cosplay they are very beautiful.

Missing izombie drama on TV

Loving to watch horror movie, I am missing this drama of Izombie it's no longer showing on TV. Sad I think not many people fan of horror movie so I am lack of seeing them now.

The other day watched Conjuring 2 in the cinema, a young man next me also watch together with his friends. Looks like they are teenagers. He brings along his headphone to use in the cinema as some part is quite scary and he puts in on when he saw some scary parts of the movie.

Everyone has different interest in movie some likes to watch romance movie. Some movies are sad and you'll cry while watching it. My son told me not long ago, the school hall has put a movie for them to watch which also can seen on youtube. He cried as the movie is making her sad about a grandmother.

Road accident caused a life at Kuantan

There is a road accident two days ago, my dear told me that his colleague have passed away. She is from another department and says that she is below 30 years old. It is sad to know this as she was on her way back to Selangor from Kuantan. Its a road accident, and everyone is sad about this, he saw a colleague sobbing in office and thought she was crying because get scold by the Bos. But it's not in fact she was a closed friend with her.

Talking of road accidents, recently I saw a youtube on new bumpers build on SS14 and SS18 Subang Jaya, it is scary as saw the cars get damage as they speed across the bumper. The bumper is not in stripes colour but in boxes colors. I am sure not many drivers will know there is a bumper ahead though there is a zebra line after the bumper.

Shopping for mommy this Mother's Day

Everyone has got a busy lifestyle these days. Tell me about it as being mommy of two boys. I have no transporter for my boys because it's costly to hire one for two kids for two ways. Talking about being a mommy, Mother's day is coming up, every mommy would be happy to receive a Mother's Day Flower.

With Internet access we can online shopping for mommy. My mommy will love to receive Mother's Day hand bouquet even me. We can visit Bloom2u, the online florist Malaysia where you can find many types of flowers to choose from.

It's best to shop online as you know your busy schedule. We can shop online as we know there is also Subang Jaya florist. Mommy is always there for their children, I saw mommies waiting at school for their children. Mommy is there to send breakfast for their children's recess time. Mommy spend lots of time not just home but also on children, I know as I am one of busy mommy that I need to guide my sons to do homework and others.

Don't forget to check www.bloom2u.com.

Discovering Malaysia's Painted Heritage‏

Happy received an email that I am one of the selected to Discovering Malaysia's Painted Heritage.

Sad to say it falls on 30 April at 10am, I was told it can only plus 1 for the event. Though it is interesting event to attend. I give it up as the date is my busy day.

It will  be nice if my sons can take part in this, but I can only choose between one of them to join me as my plus one. It is tough decision as you need to choose between two.

So many events also happening on this day too.

To reiterate, attendees will be in a Batik making workshop c/o Textile Museum's Head, Miss Rosidha Abdullah. Plus, headdress making through the use of the Batik you made. It is a good opportunity to meet other bloggers and to network.

Blue Kinetic Sands from Toys R Us

It was a present for YS when his birthday he chosen to buy the Kinetic Sands from Toys R Us. Its very expensive in Malaysia, the sands cost over RM100. No kidding but glad that now his little brother WL is having good time to play with grandpa. Good time together as both play together with the sands to make something nice. They created a face, a robot, mermaid, and many more.

WL and YS often played together. It's Friday but YS is at tuition center at the moment he has classes until 6pm. Just find out from him that Science tuition teacher doesn't give any homeworks.

It's sad news from YS to get know his exam result on Science subject 28 marks, which mean he failed the test. He failed in Bahasa Cina, Chinese language two papers test also both 32 marks the papers! It's not easy as I saw the questions on the papers, mostly are subjective questions. There's no choice given and he needs to answer them by himself.

Tuition center I spending more than daycare. Two years YS went daycare RM400 each month for day care. But at tuition center RM250 , RM90 per month, and for BC RM480 a semester. (3 months). The fees which only spend on YS, as for WL kindergarten fee is RM430 monthly.

Kids education are not cheap, also the medical fee too. YS been waiting to purchase kinetic sands for a long time, finally it was sale and we bought it for him. Yeah even though it is sale the price still need to pay RM100 above, that's a lot of money.

Parking at TTDI need pay the machine for ticket

It's my first time to go TTDI, it's last week school holidays that I let my son joined the Kids Public Speaking in English and Mandarin. I find it good for him, he has fear of going on stage, he also never try speaking in public before. It's small class in TTDI 15 pax to 18 pax of kids. Good time for him to experienced with his friends, yeah he didn't join alone he is so happy he friends also go there.

The TTDI parking machine you can use touch and go card for payment the parking. You'll need to press the car plate number on the machine. It's not easy to press the machine as the some of the numbers having problem to press! No kidding I need to go another machine to try. You can also use coins to pay for parking ticket. I used coins as I find it more convenient for me.

My friend told me that he saw one lady parking at the area pays about RM7 for that day. Well this place has Mamak stall and other restaurant to dine. I like the roti telur at the mamak stall near the Johan Speaking Academy.

Talking about dining, I saw a man parking his car outside a shop and he left his front car deck open wide. He didn't pay for any parking ticket, he dine at the restaurant that he parked outside the car. After dining there, he closed the deck of his car and left.

The Other Side Of The Door movie review

It's a wonderful day for me as morning after sending son for kids public speaking at TTDI. Then I have breakfast with Kylie , she mommy of 3 beautiful kids. Her kids too take part in kids public speaking. I saw many parents with kids have same interest to attend.

Because of traffic jam I didn't want to go back home so decided to U turn back to One Utama shopping center. The shopping mall just 5 min away from the Johan Speaking Academy.

Spoiler alert!!
Then I have movie date alone to watch horror movie of The Other Side Of The Door. The movie ticket is RM20 for adult, the movie hall is LUXE. Though they have RM8 movie ticket before 12noon but no movie suitable for me.

This is a sad movie to watch, just to let you know because my heart felt so sad after watching this movie. Its about a young mom lost her son in a tragic car accident. It's horrible moment that she has to choose between two children of her own. Who can she choose?

The death of her son named Oliver, she never have a good night sleep after the accident. Her maid Pipi told her of an ancient temple that she can bring back her son to talk to him for the last time! It's important that she been warn that no to open the door!

When someone's dead, you can never bring back their soul. It will never be the same person as the soul because it has turn evil.

The balance of life and death, in this world is depressing, you can never bring back the dead. Sad to say that though we thought the ending will be good in the movie but it wasn't it is just a beginning as her husband wanna see her! She knows of it that she shouldn't open the door but it was too late as she as not told that if open the door there will be tragic happened.

KLGCC, free buggy service

Last week I went to Pigeon baby skincare event at KLGCC, the venue is quite far for me. Its my first time there and I used waze to go. I lost counts on how many tolls I passed to pay to reach there and coming back home.

The event was held at tournament room, there was a new building outside that I park the car inside. It's free parking at the moment and there's free buggy service from car park to the tournament room. Just need to inform the driver where to drop you.

I usually go event in the day time if it's suitable for me and my dear is able to help me to fetch kids. If cannot then I didn't go at all. There's another interesting event on Thursday but sad to say I cannot make it as nobody is free to help me on the day.

I am happy received an email that I won Guardian Spend & Win Contest, but sad to say it is just consolation RM5 to spend and its the online code that can only be use on online shopping on Guardian. That's not all, terms is spend RM30 to use the code.

My dear also won RM5 consolation prize. Same as me, oh well, don't bother about this yet as the codes going to expiry on this month. Though is just RM5 but don't forget there is postage fee to pay as well.

How to Lower Your Renovation Costs

Remodeling your home doesn't have to cost thousands of dollars. If you're interested in upgrading your kitchen or re-doing that carpet in the basement, here are just five ways to lower your renovation costs without lowering the contents of your wallet as well.

1. Hire Local Contractors

Unless you have a specialty feature that can only be installed by experts of a certain distinction or class, it's okay to hire local contractors to get the job done. Not only will they face less travel to reach your home, but they'll also know all about things like weather and neighborhood conditions without being told.

2. Plan Ahead

Preparation is extremely important during renovation projects. If you don't draw up budgets, schedules and contracts, you're much more likely to face unpleasant and unexpected surprises down the line. If you're serious about saving money during your remodel, get details here for planning ahead and obtaining quotes before you start tearing up your tile.

3. Check Inside Your Walls

If insects or rodents are found inside your walls during your renovation, your contractors will be legally obligated to stop working until an exterminator can come in and solve the problem. The same goes for asbestos and other potentially hazardous compounds. If you don't want to halt your progress halfway through the project, have your walls evaluated beforehand.

4. Cut Corners for the Small Stuff

There's nothing wrong with applying a stainless steel finish instead of actually building a new-brand sink in stainless steel. Who will know but you and your contractor? While you shouldn't cut corners when it comes to the big stuff, there's no harm in reducing your expenses for the small, everyday things.

5. Say No to Upgrades

Contractors live for upgrades. They require more planning, more materials and more labor, so that means more money in their pockets when the job is done. Resist the urge to listen to their suggestions! If you haven't planned for it and don't need it, don't pay for it. Stick to your budget. In the long run, you'll be glad you did.

These are just a few helpful tips for saving money while you renovate. As you can see, a lot of them involve out-of-the-box thinking, so don't be afraid to experiment during your remodeling projects. If something doesn't work out, you can always re-do it again!
