Young & Fabulous 2016 movie review

Yesterday, exciting day for me as in the morning I get a called about 8.15 from 8TV. It's very nice movie, PG13. Spoiler alert!

If you like cosplay this movie is suitable for you. It's also related to parenting, Remember never called your child dump, the word dumb will be remembered by him forever. This is what happened in the movie, about the siblings and their mom. The mom is very sad as his eldest son wanted to be fashion designer, he also helped to design pretty costumes of cosplay.

Cosplay is very popular not only in Singapore but Malaysia too. The language in Mandarin, English and Hokkien mixture of three languages.

It's about follow your dream or let go of it, best to watch the movie yourself to know the details. It's amazing that we can see lecturer, lawyer and engineer or pilot being a cosplay. I like costumes of cosplay they are very beautiful.

McD next to Centerpoint Bandar Utama

I didn't know that Centerpoint Bandar Utama is next to McDonald. It is also same the place where I have breakfast with son last year. My son is kid blogger of Resorts World Genting, this Saturday there is an invite to watch Power Rangers but we didn't receive any invitation. It's okay then as sometimes we get invitation sometimes not.

Anyway it's easy to go centerpoint bandar utama with waze, lucky I brought son along today else I am lost as my waze is not responding or speak at all.

Other than that I missed out the Legoland invitation that my friend invited me. It's happening at Putrajaya in the afternoon but I wasn't feeling well and son got tuition today I have to reject it.

Blue Kinetic Sands from Toys R Us

It was a present for YS when his birthday he chosen to buy the Kinetic Sands from Toys R Us. Its very expensive in Malaysia, the sands cost over RM100. No kidding but glad that now his little brother WL is having good time to play with grandpa. Good time together as both play together with the sands to make something nice. They created a face, a robot, mermaid, and many more.

WL and YS often played together. It's Friday but YS is at tuition center at the moment he has classes until 6pm. Just find out from him that Science tuition teacher doesn't give any homeworks.

It's sad news from YS to get know his exam result on Science subject 28 marks, which mean he failed the test. He failed in Bahasa Cina, Chinese language two papers test also both 32 marks the papers! It's not easy as I saw the questions on the papers, mostly are subjective questions. There's no choice given and he needs to answer them by himself.

Tuition center I spending more than daycare. Two years YS went daycare RM400 each month for day care. But at tuition center RM250 , RM90 per month, and for BC RM480 a semester. (3 months). The fees which only spend on YS, as for WL kindergarten fee is RM430 monthly.

Kids education are not cheap, also the medical fee too. YS been waiting to purchase kinetic sands for a long time, finally it was sale and we bought it for him. Yeah even though it is sale the price still need to pay RM100 above, that's a lot of money.

I am happy received an email that I won Guardian Spend & Win Contest, but sad to say it is just consolation RM5 to spend and its the online code that can only be use on online shopping on Guardian. That's not all, terms is spend RM30 to use the code.

My dear also won RM5 consolation prize. Same as me, oh well, don't bother about this yet as the codes going to expiry on this month. Though is just RM5 but don't forget there is postage fee to pay as well.

The Rebel crew returns to Disney XD Saturday, 3 October 2015 in the Season Two premiere of Star Wars Rebels: The Siege of Lothal – a special one-hour movie event!

RM80 to extract a tooth from child

So Saturday my son has complaining of toothache the week, decided to bring him to see dentist on Saturday as usual weekday he's having tuition and its important to go tuition as he knows he is weak in subjects.

There are two clinics available in Taipan USJ, I decided to bring him the usual dentist that we visited. She is friendly dentist and always explain on what's she is doing. She snap picture of son's tooth saying that is moving so only thing to do is remove the tooth. He scream for a while when dentist apply strawberry gel on his tooth to make him feel numb then injection him.

The dentist told me that shall wait til he is 12 yrs or 13 yrs old to know condition of his teeth. As now seeing this gum has no space for new teeth.

Son is quite worry that he'll need braces. We'll see about that..

Tired feet on Sunday

It's been a busy week for me, yeah having pending posts to do. I started having thigh pain on Friday after the Halloween contest event at IDCC Mall, Shah Alam. It is my 3 yr old that joined the contest. He won consolation prize.

Today is the day where dear and son plus me headed to SJMC Subang Jaya for the 3km fun run. I have signed up for us earlier last month. I am glad we managed to complete the 3km fun run, oh well we prefer to walk than run.

Dear too having his feet pain but we just walk to walk instead of run. We enjoy the freshness in the morning though a bit of rain didn't stop us from the walk. If it it is heavy rain we are sure that we gonna turn around and go back.

Before that we head to Sunway Pyramid for the Dugrostar. It's nice to watch the participants aged 3 yr to 6 yr old. The gals are well dressed and pretty!

Both my thigh still hurt so I have cancel to attend event for tomorrow. Yesterday night I followed son around the Citta Mall for treat or trick, its a big mall so we have to go through all levels. I am glad he enjoy the night though he didn't win the Halloween Contest. The contest not open to 3 yr old, so toddler stay at home with sis-in-law and nephew.

Kidzania Kuala Lumpur

It's our first time to go Kidzania Kuala Lumpur, it's a fun night for my son. Parking in Kidzania is convenient, there's a bridge link to The Curve. It is walking distance to the Kidzania from The Curve or Ikea.

I prefer to park inside the Kidzania as the event over in the night, they are many things to play. I haven't let my kids to join as I think for my three year old is not suitable for him yet.

The Star newspaper today, Disney Philips Light

They have contest that day for the kids but he didn't win this lamp.

Philips and Disney lighting, Disney characters

Yesterday was a fun day for son and me, while I attended the event he gets to play in the Party Room with others. We get invited to attend the Philips and Disney lighting launched at Hamleys, 1 Utama. Above is the goodie bag from the event I attended. Pirate torch light is one of the Disney characters, they are others too my friend receive the Pooh torch light.

Pyjama party where my son first time to take part. These lighting are cute and user friendly, suitable for kids and adults. Being parent, I know children are afraid of darkness with these cute lighting, you can use them as bedtime story too.

X-Men movie passes

Yeah gonna try my luck to win movie passes to watch the X-Men. Yeah I love contest and sometimes I won sometimes I don't. It's not only depend on luck but also if you never try, you never know.

Movies: Home Alone 1 and 2

My favourite movie of all time, it would be Home Alone 1 and Home Alone 2. I never feel bored watching this movie, my kids love to watch the movie too.

I have seen the Home Alone 3 and 4 but somehow I keep going back to Home Alone 1 and 2.

The movies are now my children childhood movie. 

Dinner get together far for me?

I don't think I am getting any younger and I know that I have two boys at home which I can't always leave them out. I didn't leave them, I have loved one to care for them while I am out sometimes. I am thankful for loved ones around me to support me. :D

Life is short, cherish loved one around us.

There is a dinner get together, I didn't take part as I am not familiar with the route.

 

Shopping in Paradigm Mall alone

This morning had a quick run to Paradigm Mall, from home 11am proceed by car and reached there find concierge counter to ask where is Sun Paradise outlet. Yeah with RM200 voucher in hand, I choose to shop for bags because swimsuit just not suitable at the moment. We bearly head to beach.

I choose the pink hello kitty bag because it is water proof bag and I like the designed of this bag. It is from Japan! The Hello Kitty bag with two designs, RM139 same price for both bag, I choose pink which is bigger. :D

I parked at B1 then coming out to Jalan Bahagia, frankly my first time exit this route. Then I find that there's no way to Klang/Shah Alam.. keep looking at sign board, finally I found it. :D

I am happy today, yeah because we can make it to the shopping mall Paradigm Mall for final. Yeah both boys of mine are one of the participants in Ocean Mania Contest and they have been chosen for finalist. :D

My sick baby didn't perform on stage because he's tired still having sort throat. Supposed he just there to enjoy his bro Sea dragon performance but somehow he has interest to join. No doubt just changed him there on spot and follow him run about. Tired baby just want to sleep when he's turn to go on stage.

However everyone in family feel like starting to get sick. Yeah fever in the house and son feel like to vomit. My dear having fever, and gassy stomach. Son too having gassy stomach, I guess he's too bloated.

My sister-in-law is healing he had headache, vomit and purging. Yesterday she started vomit after eat the half boiled egg and porridge.

Buy a proper TV stand for your TV!

Do you know that buying a proper TV stand matter? No kidding this morning I read news that the TV falls on the child and he died due to bleed on the head. It is sad to see such news, it happened before to other family. My heart hurt knowing children passed away due to this matter.

If you are having big chunky television, it is best to purchase a proper TV stand for support the TV. The TV falls on the child, one of the reasons the stand is not steady and it was not a proper TV stand but aquarium stand for the fish tank used for the TV?!

We know toddlers are active and we always need to be aware of them. This age they are active and exploring and curious on everything they touch and see. They will pull and even push, no kidding I have an active 19 months old here.

Parents please be aware of this, it could save a life. Now think of it, it is not just the TV stand but also the wiring of the TV and video recording if there is any.

Superman costume for my baby

I am happy today as I purchased a Superman costume for my baby, I choose size 14 which is the largest. Previously I purchased for him size 8 of Batman costume. He wore it during the lantern festival last Saturday at cousin house.

I am keeping this Superman for Chinese New Year, I know it is just few months away. It will be good to shop early, I even bought a shirt for my son RM10. I bought the Superman costume at Carrefour Subang Jaya it is near the entrance to Carrefour.

The costumes cost RM35, I know kids clothing is never cheap! Unless you go to warehouse sales, I don't know many warehouse sales and the route to go there. Even though with map I find it difficult, I am not good with map and location.

Today my son not feeling well, he vomitted four times and purging once. He's now having his nap in sofa bed. My baby is saroung trying to sleep.
