Tomorrow Monday is Chap Goh Mei, last day of Chinese New Year

Tomorrow my Kid blogger son has no school but his little brother has kindergarten. Son has interest to go KidZania KL for play tomorrow but seem they are not open on Monday.

But I have checked that they are open on School Holiday's Monday.

Yesterday I have family meal with my parents and brother's family at BMC. Glad that we are able to sit together and eat this CNY as he's always busy or my sister in law is busy as need to prepare for food for next day.

RM620 spend to service aircon main, it's so expensive these day to own aircon. We waited it to finish thats why we have leave late to go dinner. We reached about 8.20pm and my parents have started to eat because twin gal are hungry.

CNY Mydin was yesterday I not able to attend because I have family dinner to attend. It's good to have family time together.

Chinese New Year, family time

On 22 February 2016 Monday is Chap Goh Mei, Chinese New Year is over soon. My son just told me that Monday has no school but not for his little brother. Kindergarten still open on the day, so his little brother need to go kindergarten.

My sons have interest to go KidZania KL for play activities, the children love to go there. It's been a long time since we last visited. It's fun edutainment center and children get to play and learn.

Today supposed my son and I go to Resorts World Genting but because we have family time CNY dinner at my parents place. I have reject the offer, also I have rejected to go Mydin as well because of same reason.

MYDIN CUTS DOWN PRICES OF 50 ITEMS UP TO 30%

Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd. (MYDIN) has taken proactive initiative to support the government's call to cut down prices of items. Datuk Seri Hasan Malek, Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism, recently chaired a meeting on “Issues of Prices of items and service charges” on 10th February 2015 at Putrajaya. The Minister urged all traders, retailers, suppliers and wholesalers to bring down their prices of items. This is in line with the decline of oil prices effective from 1st February 2015 and such initiative by MYDIN is to ensure that the items in MYDIN are offered at affordable prices and not burden the consumers especially the low-income group.

In line with this noble effort, MYDIN has worked out a list of 50 selected items which prices have been reduced due to the decline in operating cost. This is also in support of the call made by our Prime Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, (Bernama, 6 February 2015) who urged all wholesalers and traders, regardless of race, to be fair to consumers by cutting down prices of items due to reduction of petrol price effective from 1st February 2015.

“MYDIN will continue to help, contribute and strive towards creating a stable socio-economic development in the country. Nevertheless, I feel dissatisfied that there are still some suppliers and manufacturers out there that still have not yet reduced their prices of supplies. I would like to call upon retailers to jointly support and get involved in this noble effort to achieve sustainable socio-economic growth so “Traders are happy, Consumers are satisfied”.

As the first step, MYDIN has reduced prices of 50 items up to 30%. These items are available in 18 MYDIN Hypermarkets, 16 MYDIN Emporiums and 3 MYDIN Bazars. But any action and process to cut down prices cannot be done immediately and simultaneously. The items which have been identified amongst others are Black Pomfret Fish, Bigeye Scad Fish, Red Chili, Cucumber, Milo (400 g), Hang Tuah Coffee, Power Root Ali Cafe 5 in 1, Huggies Drypers, Adabi Spices (250 g), Jalen Soy Sauce (650 g) and many more.

Bought my favourite tooth brush

I am so happy to find my favourite Jordan tooth brush at Mydin USJ. I bought two packet as every 3 months we need to change tooth brush. Same goes to son but his using different brand.

I choose soft tooth brush better for my gums. I will not have bleeding gums using soft tooth brush, if I use medium tooth brush my gums will bleed.

Besides that I bought erasers for son, he's losing an eraser a day in class. 

Shopping handbags in Mydin USJ

Two days ago I bring my son to shopping in Mydin USJ, his holiday classes ends today. Parent need to contribute snacks or food to party. I decided to shop at Mydin because I miss shopping at this mall. I love the mall there's so many food to choose from.

I also purchase a pair of Mickey Mouse white shoes RM20 for son, yeah school is opening soon just two weeks away. I don't have interest to purchase school bag, I have enough school bag for him. As for white shirt mom-in-law purchased three but they are in dear's home town. Only problem, not yet sew the school badge on the white shirt school uniform.

My friend of mine just told me that she shopping in another mall which cost her RM400. She bought six sets of white shirts and two pants for each her son, she purchase Ben 10 white shoes at RM24 instead of RM30. She said there is free gift of school bag if purchase RM200. Just for your info she purchased from Parkson at Subang Parade.

Special Avon Kiss Goodbye To Breast Cancer Bus On The Go!

On 5 October, 2013 -Pink October Month, Avon Malaysia is all geared with its Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer Campaign 2013.

 

 

This year around, the flight continues with a strategic collaboration with LPPKN and MYDIN as The Company For Women set to create a new record in the Malaysia Book of Records for The Largest Mobile Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

 

 

 The campaign's key objections are to empower women to improve their breast health while educating the importance of breast screening as part of healthy lifestyle. The campaign also aims to create awareness among women, with emphasis that one third of breast cancers are preventable and that regular screening can save lives.

Themed "Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer!" this fun road tour will be carried out simultaneously via different 6 buses in 6 zones nationwide; namely the north, central, south, east coast, Sabah and Sarawak. These unique buses are equipped with private rooms specially designed for clinical breast checks, educational corner and registration counter for mammogram subsidy.

Scheduled from 5th to 30 October 2013 these KGBC buses are slated to stop over at 48 locations nationwide from 10am -5pm each weekend. Locations are selected for their hot spot awareness and reach out potentials, with main locations being at Mydin Malls where the public is easily accessed.

The key highlight of the tour is FREE CLINICAL BREAST HEALTH check by LPPKN's professional medical teams, educating the masses that breast cancer screening should be made as a route testing aims at detecting breast cancer at its earlier stages.

To encourage participations, Avon will be giving away attractive goodies to the first 100 participants who get on board the bus for their breast screening. Deepavali, shopping for dresses?

I can't believe my eyes, this morning I head to Mydin with my son. I saw many pretty dresses for Deepavali celebration. Oh well, it's not just Deepavali you can wear on other occasion too.

The dresses I saw they are love price RM200, RM300 above, there is lower price such as RM50. But I think if you like them, you don't mind pay a price if you can afford them.

I couldn't afford them, I only purchase for grocery and stationery for son.

 

Shopping@Mydin for loved ones

I have a wonderful time being alone to shop for my loved ones, I choose to shop for people I love. Yes I love myself too and I bought a sling bag for myself today, it is two in one style bag which I can use as sling bag or shoulder bag. I am satisfied with this bag, I almost purchase another which is batick wrapped bag but I find it may not be suitable for me. Being a mom, I need bigger bag for putting things belong to my kids.

I bought my sil a green shirt with big apple bling on it. I could tell she loves this, I saw others but I don't think she likes the material. The green colour shirt with letter apple on it cost RM19.90. The toddler set wear for my youngest boy is the most expensive clothing I bought, it is nearly RM28. But I am happy with it because it comes with single, pants and shirt. For my eldest boy, a set of power ranger clothes!

Mydin at USJ

This evening I went to Mydin at USJ, luckily there is parking space available after a few round in the parking area. I prefer parking at basement because it is not hot and not too far away from the entrance.

My friend has bought an set of cloth that cost only $49.90. I think it is value for money! I remember I bought mine with that price too but it is different style.
